Inside the Eclipse Portal

Are you feeling the intense energy of the eclipse portal?

You’re not the only one! We are sandwiched between two eclipses right now. It feels like we’re being squeezed from both sides and all the fillings are squishing out the sides like a sloppy cosmic bagel!



25 October-New moon eclipse and 8 November- Blood moon eclipse

Last week on October 25 we had the solar new moon eclipse in the sign of Scorpio and next week we will have the Blood moon eclipse in the sign of Taurus on November 8. The period between the two eclipses is called the eclipse portal and we are right in the middle of it so the energy is quite intense.


The blood moon eclipse is called such because the earths shadow cast onto the moon makes it appear red. This upcoming eclipse has a strong purging effect so expect any toxic energy or wounds you are carrying to rise to the surface.


We have three planets in the mix at this time:

Venus: governing love, self love and money

Mars going retrograde: governing actions and energy

Uranus: governing surprises and freedom


I’ve been receiving a few messages about this powerful time which I’d like to share with you.


Eclipse Portal Themes:

1. Surrender:

The energy of this eclipse is very intense and when energy is so powerful it’s best to flow with it rather than to attempt to resist because that’s when suffering happens. The waves will continue to intensify because it’s purpose is actually to push us to the point of breaking so that we surrender! Surrender is not slapping yourself on the wrist and screaming ‘LET GO!’ That’s actally the opposite of surrender, that’s resistance! To surrender actually means to welcome the sad and dark emotions that are surfacing with love. You see darkness can not exist in the prescence of love, darkness is actually just the absence of love. So if you are feeling bad about some aspect of yourself or your past, welcome it fully into your consciousness with love so it can be healed. This past week I have been feeling overwhelmed and exhausted and unmotivated, which I now understand was a result of Mars going retrograde. Rather than beating myself up about not being able to keep on top of my schedule I took time out to go to a café and have a cuppa and then walk on the beach.While there I was inspired to lie down and acknowledge my feelings and surrender them to God. When I left the beach I found I was quickly able to cross 3 things off my list that I had been avoiding simply because I had surrendered and released that blocked energy!


2. Relationships coming to and end:

The planet Venus is very active at this time and this is asking us to work on relationships and love. We may be being shown where our relationships are out of alignment with who we really are. Open your heart to see where you are being guided to do the work that is needed to keep a relationship strong or where it is time to end a relationship because it is not serving you. Uranus, the planet of surprises and freedom will be actively asking you to break ties that hold you down. This may not mean you need to leave a relationship completely but what is does mean is that you need to leave old patterns of being behind. So this can look like moving towards more self love and self care and setting new ground rules for what you will and won’t put up with in a relationship. Venus also rules over money so you may be being shown where low self worth is blocking you from receiving what you are worth as symbolised by money.


3. Shame and guilt:

The emotions of shame and guilt are very present in the collective right now. In my own life I have had memories surfacing where I have felt a lot of shame. These were instances when others didn’t choose me for a job or I was made to feel not good enough. When I feel into these memories the overwhelming feeling is shame that I was defective or broken in some way. It also showed me where I was not living in alignment with my truth, where I was wearing a mask to try and fit in and be normal so I could be accepted instead of standing up and being seen for who I really am and what I have to give. Uranus is active right now in in attempting to free you from this bondage. Ask yourself where are you being kept in a box, where are you keeping yourself small? Another part of this is where do you carry the guilt of not doing enough for others? Where are you in the polarity of overgiving to others to the point of exhaustion, and not taking care of your own needs? Remember these actions are beliefs which stem from low self worth.



4. Transformation:

This eclipse portal is a supercharged gateway offering us the opportunity to transform in almost unfathomable ways. It’s like a worm hole where you can go from one state of being to an entirely different state of being light years away from where you are now, but it requires you to do the inner work. Normally when I see an image for transformation I see a chrysalis, but this time I was shown a pair of golden butterfly wings. This shows what is being offered to us right now is an opportunity to transform profoundly in one step to become who we are meant to be!
