Right now we see multiple protests erupting all around the world in Brazil, Netherlands, Iran and China to name a few. People are rising up against regimes and control systems and they want to reclaim their freedom.
To truely reclaim your sovereignty and take back your power,
protests are not actually necessary or helpful.
Surely you need to stand strong against those who would oppress you?
This may sound counterintuitive. I have always been an activist. I was born in South Africa and got to experience first hand injustice and oppression. I saw people living in shanty towns made of cardboard. I saw government corruption and abused and decimated their own people. I experienced violence, murder and crime that was so common place that it was not even reported in the local newspapers. Even as a small child I saw death and violence first hand in my own street.
When I left South Africa in my 20’s the first thing I noticed was the huge weight that slipped from my shoulders, the burden of fear I had been living under my whole life.
We are all connected
I turned to art as a means of expressing my outrage. My work centred on social justice and I hoped to encourage a different way of thinking. I wanted people to understand that we are all connected and that we need to work together.
As my work as an artist in Melbourne began to gain traction in 2019 I was awarded an exhibition at the Cube Gallery in Frankston art centre. I made a massive installation about guns which unknown to the public had regained traction through powerful gun lobbyists in Australia, exceeding pre port Arthur massacre levels.

At the time I remember tuning in for guidance and asking ‘am I on the right path?’ The response I was given is ‘Is it about love? If it is you can do it. If not, it’s not the right approach’. This message guided my approach to my installation. I invited community interaction with my work and asked for love letters from mothers to their children. These I constructed into a bullet proof vest for a child. I suspended this vest in a forcefield of shrapnel around the vest frozen in space.
Stop putting your energy into resistance, start creating
After this exhibition I tuned in again for guidance. I was told ‘You can’t do this anymore. You are returning to the work you have done before.’ I didn’t understand it at the time, I thought they meant I was going to focus on spiritual paintings again, not installation work but actually I was being told I was not going to put my energy into resistance, I was going to begin creating! I was returning to my work as a healer and spiritual teacher which I had done in many lifetimes past. Shortly after this exhibition I was guided to energy healing and became an energy healer myself.
Stop putting energy into what you don’t want
I thought that the correct thing to do was to push back against oppression. I thought that I needed to put my time and energy into fighting against what I didn’t want. I didn’t understand that all the energy I was putting into fighting was actually manifesting what I didn’t want!
The choice to reclaim your power is made by each soul on an individual level.
Beings moving into Sovereignty are taking their power back!
They are not sending their energy out into the world to bring to life outcomes they are not interested in making manifest.
If a fan is plugged in and blowing paperwork all around a room you don’t go into the room and shout at the fan. ‘You stupid fan! I hate what you are doing. Stop this right now!’ No. You unplug the fan from it’s power source, then you pick up the paper.
If you are feeding a situation with your energy you are powering it
This is how energy works. This is the same for if you are sending the event, person or object hate or love, approval or ridicule. You are putting your energy into it.
Energy flows where attention goes
To word attention means to focus all one's energy on something.
Without energy the old paradigm crumbles
Why would you choose to devote all your energy to an outcome you don’t want? For example if you are constantly reading about the great reset you are creating it! Instead turn away, unplug and use your energy to create what you do want. Without energy these old structures crumble and fall away. This is the way of building the new earth.
It’s time to embrace sovereignty. It’s time to take back your power. Here is a prayer to guide you.

‘I now take back all energy and power that I have knowingly or unknowingly sent out into the world to manifest events and circumstances that are not aligned with my highest good and the highest good of all. I now reclaim this energy and power cleansed and purified now. And so it is’.
