The Quickening
We live in the era on Earth known as the quickening. Technological advances have sped up, but at times we are struggling to keep pace! We are constantly on, and our health can take a hit with the constant stress. Fortunately we have ancient tools at our disposal, medicinal herbs that have been sought after for centuries for their healing and stress relieving properties.
The quickening refers to the time during pregnancy when the mother starts to feel the first movements of the baby within her. Gaia, mother Earth is quickening. Have you started to pick up on the stirrings in collective consciousness? We are beginning to feel the first flutterings of new life before birthing the new Earth! It’s all going to be worth it so hang in there.

Lemon Balm: The Elixr of Life
It’s Ancient name is the ‘Elixr of life’ because it’s been prized for centuries for it’s calming and healing properties. Lemon balm, Melissa Officinalis is from the mint family. Melissa means bee in Greek and the plant gets it’s name because it is rich in nectar and attracts bees. Plant in partial shade protected from midday sun for more succulent leaves. You can divide the plant now in spring. I always have a patch in my garden for tea and I love it in fruit salads.
Lemon balm holds the energy of peace

Science has discovered lemon balm is high in terpene, a compound which soothes frazzled nerves, making it helpful for soothing stress, anxiety and depression.
